Annual International Coastal Clean-up

Last September 20 2008 the second annual international coastal clean-up took place at the Coastal Road, Parañaque City. Many schools, organizations, families, Ms. Earth delegates and other private sectors joined the said event that was led by the city government of Parañaque and sponsored by Coca-Cola Phil, Jollibee and other corporations. The event was a sequel to last year’s successful international coastal clean-up wherein Philippines was the second country to have cleaned a great number of waste along coastal road second to the United States with a 99% of trash that includes plastic, glass, tin can and other non-biodegradable materials were cleaned-up. The said event was a successful one and a fun way to help save our mother earth.

If everyone will do their responsibilities like this one, the world will be a better place. So everyone should start practicing such acts especially the youth for they are the ones who’ll gain much from it and so that they can hand this practice over the next generations that will come, plus such events like this one could be a great way of bonding and both literally and figuratively a way of clean fun.

as what the cliche says, "easier said than done." But activities like the annual international coastal clean-up is just a justification that people are really taking action into restoring nature's beauty! GOOD JOB!

activities like these not only allow us to help but also provide within ourselves a feeling of fulfillment. The feeling that you were able to contribute something good to society. i experienced it myself and if people would just realize how good it feels then maybe everyone would whole-heartedly give some time to help.
